Adult Classes
Seekers Room C10 Jack & Angie Callis This class is comprised of adults ranging in age from mid 30's to upper 40's. The goal of our class is to the Royal Law: to Love God and to love others LIFE II Room C11 Andy Deloach This class is primarily a class of couples in the 30-40 year age range. However, we do have a few singles in the group. We generally follow the SS literature, "Master Work", but occasionally break away to do something a little different.
Married Couples Room C13 John & Kim Grogan This class is open to everyone but is geared to younger couples with a focus on Biblical marriages and how God would have us raise our children.
H.I.S. Room C23 Justin Coleman & Chad Hays The name HIS is an acronym for Humbly I Serve. We wanted to remind ourselves how important it is to not only have a servants heart but to actually be a servant. We dont just talk to each other on Sunday's. Ages 20's to mid 40's married with children (but welcome to anyone).
Outside the Box Room C22 Dickey Harrison & Mike Deloach The target group for this class are adults with good Biblical foundation, all ages welcome. This class attempts to cut through the surface of scripture and discuss the deeper Biblical concepts of the Bible.
United As One in Christ Room C17 Keith & Donna Guinn This class is focused toward young married couples, who desire to show anyone and everyone that our God is real, and the need to have a real relationship with Him. We want to teach people how to study God's word and to understand and apply it to our lives.
LIFE Room C18 Tommy Bowman The class is comprised of adult couples and individuals ages 35-50 ish. This engaging group of adults eagerly and openly discusses issues relating to everday Christian life. Our primary focus is to study scriptures, what the Word means, and how God is leading us to act based on guidance from the Holy Spirit.
College Room C19 Remy & Teammy Valdivia & JR Kerfoot The Bible study approach is a verse by verse study of the main passages of a given book. We hope to have studied each book of the Bible in a 6 year period.
Faith I Room D2 Larry Scarbrough & Mike Holland This class is a large class comprised of a very diverse group of people-- couples, singels, young, middle-aged and seniors. We commit ourselves not only to Bible study but in a praying and caring for one another and in being involved in class sponsored ministries of various kinds.
Senior Couples Room D6 Warren Cole & David McMinn This class targets mature adults 50 and up seeking & sharing a small group Christian love and fellowship type atmosphere. The class consists of both couples and singles and follows a traditional study plan using the Lifeway series "Explore the Bible".
Median Adults Room D7 Chuck Stewart & Chris Mayo Our class is made up of mid-life adults, 45-65, that enjoy exploring what the Bible has to say about our everyday experiences. We are a close-knit group that believes in sharing (and showing) the love of Christ. Our literature deals with the life lessons we experience on a daily basis.
Senior Men & Women Room D8 Lois McFarland & Charline Moore Teaching each week alternates between teachers and uses group discussions and Lifeway Quarterly publications, The Explore the Bible series. This is a very traditional Sunday School Class targeted at men and women 60 and older. Our class is made up of married couples as well as singles. Titus 2:1-5
Faith III Room B6 Don Hale Our class is made up of middle age couples. We study from the Word of God and try to apply what it teaches to every day life. We are very open with our discussions and very discreet when personal issues are discussed. We are also very mission minded and are always seeking ways to serve our Church and the surrounding community.
Adult Bible Study Room B14 Web Drake This class uses the "Explore the Bible Series" to unveil the truts of scripture. Dr. Drake utilizes his unique insights and experiences to teach his learners. All ages welcome.
New Members Class Room B9 This class is offered to those that are interested in joining or learning more about Chapel Hill. This class offers a basic overview of the Christian faith, the roots of Chapel Hill, and practical steps in how one can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and how to become more connected in their relationships at Chappel Hill.
