Dale Denning - Senior Pastor PDF Print E-mail

Bro. Dale came to Chapel Hill Baptist Church in October of 1991. It has been a wonderful, and exciting journey for past 2 decades. God has moved in marvelous ways. Attendance at Chapel Hill has grown consistently over Bro. Dale’s tenure as pastor. From an average of 36 in Sunday school to nearly 500, Chapel Hill has been faithful in reaching the community for the cause of Christ. Over the past twenty years, the church has gone through 6 expansions. In February of 2008, Chapel Hill entered into its 975 seat worship center. Bro. Dale states, “I’m extremely excited about the future of Chapel Hill. We have a wonderful staff, a sweet, sweet spirit, a great facility, and a blessed congregation of people. I’m convinced that God has but scratched the surface of what He has planned for us if we continue to remain faithful.”

He is married to Christi, who is employed as an English teacher at Bradford High School. They have two sons, Andrew and Drake. “I could not be prouder of my wife and children. Aside from Jesus, they are, and always will be the most important things in my life,” adds Dale.

Bro. Dale holds a double major in Psychology and Religion from Union University; he holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary, and recently he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern.

Bro. Dale has ministered in many, if not most, of the churches in Gibson and surrounding counties. God has allowed him to minister in Word and in song in dozens of churches in the West Tennessee area. Dale, along with his wife, sings with the southern gospel group the Kindred Spirits. Bro. Dale also serves a member of the school board for the Bradford Special School District. He believes that Christians should do more than simply talk about making a difference in communities – they should get involved! You can email Bro. Dale here

Cindy Adkisson - Ministry Assistant PDF Print E-mail

Cindy Adkisson grew up locally in the Gibson County area. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1998 and attended Jackson State Community College, majoring in Business Management. She joined Chapel Hill Baptist Church in 2002 and married Wesley Adkisson in April  2003. They were married at Chapel Hill in the old sanctuary. Cindy spent the next several years working in the retail management industry achieving what most people would consider prominent positions in sales and marketing. With the birth of their son, Bo Ryan in 2006, Cindy’s priorities began to change. She realized she needed a career that would allow her more time with her family.

As she witnessed God working in her life through personal family matters; one being her mother’s diagnosis of Carcinoid Cancer, a rare form of cancer, her relationship with God became stronger. Naturally her desire to be in a more positive, Christian environment at work grew also. Cindy searched and prayed for the job that would fulfill her drive to achieve success, her desire to serve God and still allow her the ability to be available for her family.

Becoming Chapel Hill’s Ministry Assistant in March 2010 was an answered prayer for Cindy and her family…….

Hobbies include photography , spending time with family and friends, watching football, traveling,
